Those keen to get in spirit of the Carnivale and enter the Hay Bale Art competition, a popular feature of the coming Carnivale are reminded that to be eligible for a prize they must complete and lodge their entry form no later than 20 December 2016.

Susie Huggins, this year’s coordinator of the Hay Bale Art Competition said, “The tiny western district town of Tarrington has been holding a successful hay bale art festival for some time now and I know we can do better, come on Yea bring out your creative Hay Bales and let’s show them how we do it in Murrindindi!”

“We invite and encourage our Yea & District community to join in the fun and compete for part of the $1,000 prize money generously provided by the Yea Community Bank. The cash prizes will go to the winning entrants nominated community group.” Susie added.

All entries to be completed by 1st January 2016.

Winners announced at the Opening Night 22nd January 2016.
